This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
β’ Deliver prompt and professional assistance to clients and patients.
β’ Address billing concerns utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Collect and respond to incoming requests or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
β’ Engage with patients through phone, email, chat, or text to facilitate billing for testing.
β’ Record interactions with clients, patients, and payors in Ambry systems.
β’ Review, identify, and handle documents.
β’ Answer inquiries about Ambry products and procedures using available resources.
β’ Support patient and client questions and aim for one-touch resolution when feasible.
β’ Organize and attach documents to the relevant cases.
β’ Interact directly with clients in real-time.
β’ Collaborate with internal departments.
β’ Utilize basic billing and insurance knowledge.
β’ Share knowledge of Ambry products and systems with internal teams.
β’ Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
β’ Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing support.
β’ High school diploma or higher.
β’ Familiarity with CPT & ICD10 codes, medical terminology, and insurance plans and processes.
β’ Outstanding telephone and communication skills.
β’ Capability to work efficiently within a team environment.
β’ Ability to manage workload and additional projects independently.
β’ Strong attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.
β’ Proficient in standard office equipment, office software, and internet usage.
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, and internet navigation.
β’ Ability to read and interpret documents, Ambry requisitions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
β’ Competency in writing standard reports and correspondence.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in group environments with clients and employees.
β’ Capability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
β’ Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
β’ Prior experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory administration is preferred.
β’ Previous customer service experience in a health or wellness setting preferred.
β’ Experience in insurance billing, including verification, authorization, or collections is preferred.
β’ No certifications, licenses, or registrations are required.
