This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Engage with patients through both inbound and outbound phone communications.
β’ Offer informed responses to inquiries related to medical bills and accounts.
β’ Comprehend and comply with all regulatory compliance areas, policies, and procedures, including HIPAA.
β’ Deliver exceptional customer service and prompt replies to questions and concerns regarding benefits, billing, claims, payments, and more.
β’ Assess and interpret insurance Explanation of Benefits to ascertain patient responsibilities, adjustments, and write-offs.
β’ Clarify charges, respond to inquiries, and convey requirements, policies, and procedures related to patient financial care services and resources.
β’ Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
β’ Moderate proficiency with computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Tools.
β’ Effective problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to follow through.
β’ Capability to manage multiple tasks and operate within various systems simultaneously.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
β’ Preferred knowledge of medical billing and/or revenue cycle management in a healthcare-related field (1 year).
β’ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a patient contact center (call center).
