This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.
• Offer specialized phone consultations to veterinarians concerning IDEXX laboratory results, diagnostic testing, and treatment alternatives.
• Utilize IDEXX Reference Laboratory and Point-of-Care diagnostics to aid clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes.
• Establish trusted relationships with veterinary clients through medically accurate and customer-centric guidance.
• Accurately document consultations in CRM systems.
• Manage a consistent caseload of consultations while meeting turnaround time expectations and ensuring availability during scheduled hours.
• Collaborate with the Medical Consulting team, as well as pathology, laboratory, customer support, and cross-functional IDEXX teams.
• Share knowledge and expertise to contribute to team learning and continuous improvement.
• Engage in team meetings and educational initiatives.
• Participate in occasional travel for training and development.
• Veterinary Science degree recognized in Australia and/or New Zealand.
• Board-certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist (ACVIM or ECVIM) or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
• Maintain the registration and credentials required to practice veterinary medicine.
• Sustain Diplomate status.
• Advanced expertise and clinical experience in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
• Exceptional diagnostic reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to convey complex clinical information clearly, professionally, and understandably.
• Aptitude for building trust, rapport, and enduring professional relationships.
• Resilience, adaptability, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• A dedicated office space.
• Comfortable working in a remote, technology-enabled setting with high-speed internet.
• Fully remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
