Medical Canvass Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Make a significant number of outbound calls, including cold calls, primarily directed at medical offices and various healthcare facilities.

• Professionally and efficiently manage incoming calls and follow-up communications.

• Investigate medical facilities and additional relevant sources utilizing the tools and resources provided.

• Employ innovative problem-solving strategies to discover alternative research methods when information is challenging to obtain.

• Precisely record outreach efforts, findings, and case-related details in internal systems.

• Draft clear and professional email correspondence for clients.

• Execute general data entry tasks and keep thorough, accurate case files.

• Collaborate with team members to complete time-sensitive projects and adhere to client deadlines.

• Follow established protocols for managing confidential and sensitive information.

• Assist with litigation matters by researching and reaching out to medical facilities to pinpoint potential treatment locations linked to individuals involved in legal cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience in clerical, administrative, customer service, or office settings is strongly preferred.

• Experience in a call center, reception, scheduling, collections, intake, or any high-volume phone role is highly desirable.

• An associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a confident and professional demeanor on the phone.

• Persistence and comfort in making cold calls and performing repeated follow-ups.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and note-taking skills.

• Capability to communicate via phone while accurately entering and documenting information.

• Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Skill in prioritizing multiple tasks and performing effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

• Reliability, punctuality, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with types of medical facilities and HIPAA guidelines is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to handle sensitive or potentially graphic materials with professionalism and discretion.

• Flexibility to occasionally adjust work hours to align with Central or Eastern Time zones.

• Prior experience in medical canvassing is beneficial but not required.
