Medical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake records for accuracy and completeness.

• Input data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Arrange appointments for patients.

• Assess readiness for video consultations.

• Engage with healthcare team members and patients.

• Ensure health information is maintained in accordance with corporate and federal regulations.

• Collect comprehensive medical histories, including current medications.

• Record biometric screening results.

• Identify necessary preventive measures.

• Prepare EHR charts in advance of patient visits.

• Support nursing staff in the development of care plans.

• Contribute to the efficiency of virtual care products and services for Teladoc Health members.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.

• 2+ years of college education is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

• Training as an LPN/LVN or Nursing Student is advantageous.

• Customer service experience is essential.

• Experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred.

• Familiarity with video conferencing tools is preferred.

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft software.

• Excellent time management abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple, competing priorities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team.

• Capability to excel in a dynamic work environment within a growing organization.

• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
