Medical Advisor, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as the Agency's Medical Advisor, providing clinical oversight and physician-level consultation.

• Engage in Ethics Committee discussions when clinical or patient care inquiries necessitate physician input.

• Assist in the verification and review of referring physician credentials and orders as required.

• Offer direction on plan of care inquiries when clinical staff or the Director of Nursing seek physician-level advice.

• Be accessible for occasional consultations, excluding day-to-day clinical management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO).

• Previous experience in home health, private duty, or a similar care environment is highly advantageous.

• Ability to operate in an advisory role rather than in a full-time clinical position.

• Must be responsive and reachable for periodic consultations, even with limited hours.
