This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support while adhering to established guidelines.
• Ensure that customer accounts are accurate and comply with state and payer Medicaid regulations.
• Investigate accounts and rectify potential errors and issues by reviewing phone calls, emails, and tickets.
• Manage move-ins, Medicaid conversions, charge maintenance, and modifications to agreements and billing parties according to state Managed Care Organization standards.
• Collaborate with communities to resolve account discrepancies prior to monthly resident invoicing.
• Update resident accounts following state and MCO rate adjustments.
• Oversee and allocate work tickets through the internal system, mail, and external faxes.
• Assess and pinpoint opportunities for process improvements that enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Must reside within a 2.5-hour commute from Milwaukee, WI.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least one year of customer service experience is essential.
• Experience in a healthcare office setting is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills are crucial.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
• Fundamental technical skills to perform repetitive and clearly defined tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational competencies.
• Capability to manage a high volume of work with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• No specific certifications, licenses, or other special qualifications are required.
