Mechanical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage mechanical teams, contractors, and technicians on-site for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.

• Analyze mechanical drawings, specifications, and engineering plans to guarantee proper installation and adherence to design intent.

• Perform on-site inspections, system testing, commissioning, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure compliance with local building, mechanical, and fire codes, as well as environmental regulations.

• Facilitate permit approvals and regulatory inspections in collaboration with local authorities, building departments, and inspection agencies.

• Create progress reports, inspection reports, and status updates for project management and clients.

• Enforce safety protocols and lead safety meetings.

• Identify and address issues related to mechanical systems, design conflicts, and installation challenges.

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical subcontractors to maintain work quality and adhere to schedules.

• Keep comprehensive records of inspections, tests, warranties, and as-built conditions.

• Engage in system startup, testing, and commissioning processes.

• Liaise with building owners, facility managers, and end users regarding the operation of mechanical systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of mechanical supervision experience in commercial, industrial (Manufacturing/Clean Lab), or institutional projects (experience in DC is a plus).

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems design and installation.

• Comprehensive understanding of local mechanical codes, building codes, and inspection standards.

• Proven capability to produce clear, detailed reports for various stakeholders.

• Experience in conducting field inspections and quality control measures.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple mechanical contractors effectively.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education.

• Minimum of an Associate Engineer License.

• Professional licenses (PE, contractor's license) are advantageous.

• Experience with BIM/3D modeling coordination is a plus.

• Familiarity with OSHA compliance requirements.
