Mechanical Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the mechanical systems at the Trimpley and Shelton Water Treatment facilities

• Engage in intricate water treatment process plants

• Begin with a work-from-home arrangement in a regional, field-based position

• Utilize specialized training to operate sophisticated mechanical systems

• Assist in preventing issues proactively to ensure the safety of communities and waterways

• Work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 15:30 and Friday from 7:30 to 15:00, with flexibility available

• Take part in standby coverage

• Complete technical training, on-the-job development, formal training, assessments, and competency advancement

• Aim to achieve a recognized second skill

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical qualification or an equivalent mechanical certification

• Full UK driving license required

• Experience acquired from process plants across any industry

• Familiarity with process control systems

• Understanding of industrial mechanical installation standards and requirements

• Willingness to participate in standby duties

• Obligation to work towards attaining a recognized second skill

• Candidates may possess mechanical qualifications or experience; qualifications or experience in instrumentation are beneficial but not mandatory
