MDS Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Monitor mitigation tasks from start to finish.

• Review and assist in maintaining assignment records to ensure accurate information for the team.

• Relay claim updates from field technicians to customers via phone and data entry.

• Communicate with Franchise Owners, Operations Managers, Technicians, and insurance carriers.

• Track and report daily activities to the Team Lead.

• Create Mitigation, Fire, Contents, and Rebuild estimates utilizing Xactimate and Cotality/Symbility.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as directed by the Team Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• At least 1 year of estimating experience in Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) or Symbility is essential.

• Proficiency in Xactimate estimating is mandatory.

• Comfortable working with various software systems in a data-entry-intensive, desk-focused position.

• Experience in property restoration, insurance claims, or a similar field is preferred.

• Understanding of insurance carrier processes is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.

• Strong analytical abilities and exceptional customer service skills are a must.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results under pressure.

• Organized during times of increased workload.

• Comfortable navigating multiple software systems.

• Capable of managing several assignments concurrently.
