MDR Shift Analyst – Unit 42

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and analyze security alerts within customer environments.

• Assess, investigate, and address security incidents from detection to resolution.

• Examine endpoint, network, and log data to detect malicious activities.

• Convey findings and remediation suggestions to clients and internal teams.

• Record investigations, response measures, and outcomes of incidents.

• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Security Research teams to enhance detection and response capabilities.

• Provide support for a 24x7 MDR operation, including overnight and weekend security operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must currently live on the West Coast (PST time zone).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in SOC, Incident Response, MDR, or Managed Security Services.

• Practical experience with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and firewall technologies.

• Strong comprehension of cyber threats, attack methods, and incident response procedures.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to work day shifts, weekends, and holiday shifts according to business and customer needs.

• Sponsorship for work visas is not provided.

• Preferred: Experience with Cortex XDR and/or Cortex XSOAR.

• Preferred: Prior experience in shift-based or overnight security operations.

• Preferred: Security certifications such as CySA+, CEH, or equivalent.

• Preferred: Experience in MDR, managed security, military cyber, or intelligence fields.
