This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of security incidents, from initial detection and analysis to remediation and communication with customers.
• Examine and investigate security alerts generated by the Cortex XDR platform.
• Identify root causes and necessary response actions.
• Work in collaboration with global customers to deliver security monitoring and response services.
• Share information with the Security Research, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting teams.
• Provide insights to product, research, and engineering teams aimed at enhancing Palo Alto Networks’ security offerings.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a multi-tiered Security Operations Center (SOC) or Incident Response (IR) position.
• Proven experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Strong understanding of prevalent cyber-attack trends and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR or Cortex XSOAR is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications such as GIAC (GCIH, GCFA), CompTIA CySA+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
• Experience with basic static or dynamic malware analysis is preferred.
