MDM Engineer – 1-month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage the transition from the current externally managed Microsoft Intune setup.

• Establish and configure the new MDM/UEM system.

• Set up device enrollment and management for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Implement Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise as needed.

• Migrate and re-enroll current employee devices into the new system.

• Configure foundational security, compliance, and device policies.

• Connect the MDM environment with identity management solutions such as Microsoft Entra ID.

• Resolve issues that arise during the migration process.

• Create documentation for the setup and ensure a smooth handover to the internal MySense team.

• Transition MySense’s internal device management from the externally managed Microsoft Intune to an in-house MDM/UEM environment with minimal disruption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience in implementing or migrating an MDM/UEM environment.

• Strong practical knowledge of at least one major MDM platform, such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Kandji, Workspace ONE, or MobileIron.

• Experience managing a diverse device environment that includes Windows, macOS, iOS, and/or Android.

• Solid understanding of Apple Business Manager.

• Good comprehension of Windows Autopilot / Microsoft Endpoint Management.

• Familiarity with Android Enterprise.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for endpoint automation.

• Experience in configuring device enrollment, policies, profiles, security, and compliance rules.

• History of integrating endpoint management with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD or similar identity systems.

• Capability to independently manage the migration from planning through to implementation and handover.

• Advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills with stakeholders.

• Nice to have: experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.

• Nice to have: experience collaborating with external IT/MSP providers during migrations or offboarding.

• Nice to have: experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, or education.

• Nice to have: knowledge of certificate management, PKI, or network access control.
