MCP/AI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold clean, thoroughly tested code for MCP tools, agentic functionalities, and their associated services (both front-end and back-end), adhering to team standards.

• Integrate LLMs and models through APIs/SDKs to facilitate agentic workflows, focusing on accuracy, latency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Assist in establishing the framework for agentic workflows — incorporating human-in-the-loop processes, ensuring traceability, and implementing clear error management.

• Contribute to automated testing, evaluation frameworks for AI behavior, CI/CD pipelines, and tools for developers.

• Conduct debugging and troubleshooting across the entire stack (agent/tool logic, APIs, web UI), collaborating with senior engineers and QA teams.

• Partner with Product and UX teams to convert requirements into technical tasks; proactively identify risks and obstacles and seek mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree with over 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Practical experience in software development using at least one mainstream programming language (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred for our technology stack).

• Knowledge of modern web development technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) and familiarity with a framework like React.

• Solid understanding of testing, debugging, and code review processes; experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (PRs, branches).

• Experience in working with LLMs or AI APIs — for instance, prompting, invoking model/agent APIs, or developing simple agentic/RAG features (coursework, side projects, or professional experience is acceptable).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a desire to deeply understand ML/AI, and a cooperative approach.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
