Math Tutor – Grades 5-8

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct personalized online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 throughout North America, adhering to the CCSS framework.

• Instruct in English using engaging and interactive methods that foster student involvement, enhance understanding of core concepts, and provide immediate responses to inquiries.

• Develop lesson materials tailored to the specific needs of each student, ensuring well-organized and high-quality teaching.

• Offer prompt feedback and focused support to aid in student comprehension and facilitate ongoing improvement.

• Assist with project testing and contribute to the continual development of the curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher; preferred majors include Math, Education, or related disciplines.

• Prior teaching experience or possession of a valid teaching certificate is strongly preferred.

• Must be available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends in US time zones.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is advantageous.
