Math Tutor, Grades 5-8

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized online math instruction for students in Grades 5-8 throughout North America, in accordance with the CCSS framework.

• Instruct in English utilizing interactive and student-focused teaching methods.

• Develop lesson materials tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.

• Offer prompt feedback and focused guidance.

• Assist with project testing and contribute to ongoing curriculum enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; preference for majors in Math, Education, or related disciplines.

• Teaching experience or possession of a valid teaching certificate is strongly preferred.

• Must be available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (U.S. time zones).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

• Instruction must be conducted in English.

• Familiarity with or capability to teach in alignment with the U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
