Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized online math instruction for students in Grades 5-8 throughout North America, adhering to the CCSS framework.

• Employ interactive and student-focused teaching strategies to enhance engagement, deepen understanding of core concepts, and address inquiries in real time.

• Design lesson materials tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that instruction is both well-organized and of high quality.

• Deliver prompt feedback and specific guidance to facilitate student comprehension and ongoing progress.

• Assist in project testing and contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Preferred majors include Math, Education, or related disciplines.

• Teaching experience or possession of a valid teaching certificate is strongly preferred.

• Must be available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

• Instruction is to be conducted in English.
