Math Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Conduct dynamic and engaging online math classes for groups of up to eight students.

• Review instructional materials and document lesson preparation as necessary to maintain quality standards.

• Deliver a consistent series of classes without cancellations or rescheduling.

• Facilitate small-group, weekly online math sessions lasting 90 minutes for 6–8 students.

• Utilize the ClassIn platform along with coursework and PowerPoint presentations created by the in-house development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in teaching elementary, middle school, or high school math, whether online or face-to-face.

• Capability to clarify concepts in a straightforward, simple, and logical manner.

• Ability to blend your unique teaching style with established educational standards.

• Dependable, organized, and prepared to attend and conduct each scheduled lesson.

• Possess a positive demeanor, engaging personality, and a talkative nature.

• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

• Proficient in English with clear and articulate pronunciation.

• Commitment to a fixed schedule, teaching at least two classes per week.

• Reliable and fast internet connection (approximately 20 Mbps up and down).

• Modern and dependable computer (scoring around 10,000+ on cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php).

• Up-to-date resume.

• Introduction video on YouTube or Vimeo outlining your teaching experience.

• Screenshot of your device’s specifications.

• Link to Speedtest.net results.

🏝️ Benefits

• Compensation of $75 for each 90-minute lesson, which includes preparation and teaching time.

• Additional $25 for producing a preview video the first time each lesson is delivered.

• Comprehensive training and support will be offered.

• Monthly payments made through Wise, between the 10th and 12th of each month.
