Math Competition Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized online math tutoring sessions concentrating on preparation for AMC 8 and AMC 10 competitions.

• Instruct in English utilizing interactive and problem-solving techniques to enhance students' analytical and logical thinking abilities.

• Assist students in navigating competition-style questions and clarify essential concepts and strategies relevant to math competitions.

• Aid students in establishing systematic methods for number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.

• Empower students to build confidence and effective strategies for test-taking in math competitions.

• Offer prompt feedback and focused guidance to foster student comprehension and ongoing development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; preferred majors include Math, Economics, Finance, or similar disciplines.

• Highly preferred candidates will have experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring in competitive settings.

• A solid foundation in mathematics; familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts is advantageous.

• Availability for work during weekday evenings and weekends.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
