This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise Case Management personnel in the daily operations of the Maternity Case Management department.
• Manage and adjust work queues to ensure a balanced workflow.
• Monitor compliance with departmental and company metrics.
• Train both new hires and existing staff members.
• Support the case management team and the overall company program.
• Evaluate the Maternity Case Management program for potential improvements in efficiency and outcomes.
• Assist team members and clients with daily departmental operations.
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to collect feedback and address any concerns.
• Oversee team caseloads within the medical management system and modify assignments as necessary.
• Perform regular case reviews in addition to assessing staff performance.
• Provide emergency coverage for Case Management caseloads when needed.
• Report directly to the Manager of Maternity Case Management.
• Collaborate closely with management to foster a culture of continuous improvement in the work environment.
• A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a Case Management role is required.
• Previous experience with a Maternity case management program is preferred.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory position managing nursing staff is desirable.
• Certification in Case Management (CCM) must be obtained within the timeframe set by company policy.
• Availability to work late when necessary to manage staff and caseloads is required.
• Familiarity with NCQA standards is preferred.
• Proven strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
• A demonstrated history of using tact, diplomacy, and strategic thinking when addressing issues and changes in company policy is necessary.
• Must be self-motivated and eager to learn various tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are essential.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.) are required.
• Accuracy in spelling and documentation is a must.
• A commitment to excellence in customer service is essential.
