This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop domain-specific, authentic materials science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering tasks based on previous work experience.

• Construct data rooms and establish objective grading criteria.

• Execute tasks utilizing AI models and assess both successes and failures.

• Refine tasks until they accurately distinguish model performance.

• Work alongside project leaders and other subject matter experts to set quality standards.

• Engage in daily onboarding sessions and office hours.

• Generate prompts, data rooms, and grading techniques to evaluate AI model reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in materials science, including metals, ceramics, composites, characterization, or additive manufacturing; or electrical engineering (analog, RF, power); or mechanical engineering (design, CFD and fluids, heat transfer, pressure vessels, NDE, CAE).

• Comfortable with ambiguity.

• Capable of articulating why an incorrect answer is incorrect.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship.

• Work must not entail access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
