This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Adhere to safe work practices, along with the safety policies and procedures set by both the company and the client at the worksite.
• Create and sustain project schedules utilizing Primavera P6, which involves logic, sequencing, progress updates, and reporting.
• Develop lookaheads, pinpoint schedule risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the baseline development and participate in change order/time impact review processes.
• Generate internal and client-facing status reports that effectively communicate critical paths, constraints, and variances.
• Coordinate schedule updates, resource planning, and earned value reporting with project teams.
• Deliver visual reporting through dashboards, charts, or analytical tools.
• Assist in risk identification sessions and maintain risk registers at the project level.
• Mentor junior project controls team members as necessary.
• Detect schedule issues promptly and bring them to the attention of project leadership.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or relevant professional experience is required.
• A Scheduling Certification is highly preferred, such as Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Over 5 years of experience in creating and maintaining project schedules with Primavera P6.
• Experience in updating schedules, analyzing critical paths, and conveying schedule impacts is essential.
• A thorough understanding of baseline management, schedule change management, and time impact analysis is crucial.
• Capability to oversee multiple projects or phases in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with project controls concepts, including progress measurement, reporting, and basics of earned value.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and general Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Experience in commercial construction, industrial, or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore, Oracle platforms, or Agile Construction concepts is an advantage, though not essential.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for E2 Optics and/or the project.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to regularly carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Capability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required.
