This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver expert subject matter knowledge and leadership within a Master Planning domain.
• Create and uphold actionable master production schedules utilizing finite-capacity, material-constrained, and resource-constrained planning methodologies.
• Oversee production sequencing, lot sizing, changeovers, lead times, and scheduling priorities.
• Facilitate material readiness, QA/QC release, production priorities, inventory availability, warehousing, and operational dependencies.
• Direct capacity planning and planning that is based on constraints.
• Enhance finished goods and intermediates throughout the value chain while taking financial KPIs into account.
• Assist in strategies for total-lifecycle management of stock keeping units.
• Act as a super user for planning systems and a business subject matter authority.
• Provide support to planners and functional users in advanced planning applications.
• Manage and improve planning parameters, master data, policies, calendars, and system inputs.
• Design and sustain Excel-based planning tools, models, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Utilize Excel, Power Query, and other analytical instruments to consolidate, transform, validate, and analyze planning data.
• Travel to the head office or participate in on-site meetings on an as-needed basis.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Post-secondary education in supply chain management or a related discipline.
• Familiarity and experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and/or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Knowledge in business, robust technical skills, expertise in supply chain management, and experience in supply chain planning.
• Experience collaborating with professionals from both demand and supply sides, as well as supporting functional areas.
• Strong communication skills that facilitate change, problem-solving, mediation, and teamwork.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capability to handle multiple concurrent activities, dependencies, priorities, and deadlines.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with large datasets, Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and data manipulation methods.
• Practical experience with Kinaxis, Demantra, i2, SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, or comparable planning systems.
• Commitment to obtaining or already possessing one or both APICS certifications: CPIM and/or CSCP.
