This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.
• Develop and oversee master data elements, which include item files, contract information, and pricing lists.
• Construct and manage contracts, item files, vendor records, transmissions, and pricing within the database.
• Adhere to system-wide procedures to reduce non-file purchases through effective reporting and item file management.
• Evaluate and assess materials data for accuracy and consistency.
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and other irregularities, identifying results that fall short of standard thresholds.
• Examine pricing inconsistencies by reviewing contracts and initiating credit requests with vendors.
• Coordinate data elements that integrate with clinical and financial information systems.
• Assist process owners, health ministries, and associates by addressing inquiries and resolving issues or errors.
• Escalate unresolved issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance process efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or education.
• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and other essential functions.
• Familiarity with SAP Master Data is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in written forms such as email or through a ticketing system.
• Must be a resident of AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, WV, or WI.
• Capability to frequently lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 0–25 lbs.
• Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive movements of feet/legs and hands/arms.
• Competence in using vision and depth perception for both near and far distances, as well as color differentiation.
• Ability to communicate orally and hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery.
• Regular keyboard use/data entry required.
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and grip.
• Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25–50 lbs.
• Rarely required to climb.
• No professional license or certification is necessary.
