Masonry Technical Installation Representative, Stone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical expert for inquiries related to technical aspects, installation, and products.

• Create and execute training programs for classroom and field installations across all Stone brands.

• Provide training on Westlake Royal Stone Solutions products and installation protocols for both sales teams and consumers.

• Conduct product knowledge training sessions on ancillary products.

• Deliver PowerPoint presentations for contractors, builders, and industry professionals.

• Execute hands-on training to enhance installation quality.

• Collaborate with trade organizations and Trade Training Schools to increase the number of qualified installers.

• Build strong relationships with contractors and installation firms within the designated territory.

• Engage in preconstruction and job site visits for ongoing projects.

• Support the Area Sales Manager with tailored job-specific training and assistance to drive demand.

• Aid regional sales teams by providing product knowledge, support, and services to enhance sales growth.

• Assist the Warranty Claims Department by performing site visits and gathering necessary information.

• Champion safety initiatives and foster a robust safety culture.

• Cover the TN, NC, SC, and FL territories, with limited travel to AL and LA.

• Travel approximately 50% of the time on average.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and/or

• 5 years of experience in masonry and/or

• 3 years of experience installing manufactured stone veneer is preferred.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Comprehensive knowledge of installation techniques, product details, building codes, and product warranties.

• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly driven and results-oriented.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively and credibly.

• Must be open to travel.

• Willingness to be away from home for several nights per week.

• Capability to spend several hours a day riding in vehicles.

• Must have insurability and a valid driver's license from a US state.

• Must be able to operate a pickup truck with a trailer as required.

• Must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus.
