Marketplace Operations – Experimentation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Establish, conduct QA, and initiate A/B tests across Marketplace functionalities, ensuring accurate targeting, variants, and tracking.

• Oversee ongoing tests, identify issues promptly, and report results once they reach statistical significance.

• Maintain a comprehensive record for each test, detailing launch status, audience, and insights gained.

• Design and oversee placements, promotions, coupons, and offers within the Sezzle application.

• Organize and manage cashback initiatives utilizing internal administrative tools.

• Integrate online stores into the marketplace and activate their store domains.

• Align user and merchant segments with features, placements, and offers.

• Conduct QA audits, address user-reported issues and broken links, and set up alert systems.

• Compare the shopping experience to competitors and suggest enhancements for placements, deals, and offers.

• Record test plans, outcomes, and processes, while identifying workflows suitable for AI automation.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data, design, and partnerships teams; report to the Product Manager for Marketplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 1 to 3+ years of experience in operations, experimentation, or product analytics.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tests and workstreams simultaneously.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.

• Strong analytical abilities; comfortable with SQL and dashboards, and capable of interpreting A/B test results including lift, significance, and sample size.

• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment where priorities may change frequently.

• Detail-oriented with a quality assurance mindset.

• Regular user of Claude or a similar AI tool, with practical examples of its use for data analysis, query writing, document drafting, and automating repetitive tasks.

• Nice to have: experience with A/B testing or feature flag tools such as Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Statsig, or Firebase.

• Nice to have: background in affiliate, cashback, or advertising partnerships.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

• Nice to have: experience with mobile applications and product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.
