Marketplace Manager – Focus on Otto and eBay

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and continually enhance the company's visibility on Otto and eBay.

• Optimize and maintain listings on Otto and eBay to boost visibility and drive growth.

• Experiment with new strategies to unlock the full potential of both platforms.

• Perform keyword research and establish product keyword clusters.

• Develop new product listings while managing and improving existing ones.

• Generate engaging content.

• Ensure the product information system is maintained and that product data remains accurate and up-to-date.

• Track relevant marketing KPIs and analyze marketplace performance.

• Assess performance data and compile insightful reports.

• Identify optimization opportunities based on marketplace algorithms and ranking factors, and implement actionable solutions.

• Assist in the integration of new marketplaces such as Douglas, Kaufland, and Galaxus.

• Gradually assume responsibility for additional marketplace channels.

• Collaborate closely with the team on strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in marketplace marketing and e-commerce.

• Strong grasp of e-commerce marketing and the management of visibility and performance on marketplaces.

• Openness to experimenting with new methods and sharing your ideas.

• Experience with other marketplaces, such as Amazon, DocMorris, or Shop Apotheke, is advantageous.

• Analytical mindset capable of evaluating metrics and formulating actionable insights.

• Strong skills in project management.

• Independent, solution-oriented, and proactive work ethic.

• Proficiency in German.

• English language skills are a plus.

• Permanent residency in Germany is required.
