This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Oversee daily operations and execution related to the CANZA Marketplace and associated MMRV initiatives.
β’ Drive improvements to the Marketplace searchable directory to enhance user experience and foster partner relationships throughout Canada.
β’ Assist in the development and enhancement of Marketplace and MMRV tools, programs, and resources.
β’ Engage in testing and quality assurance for new features and digital functionalities of the Marketplace.
β’ Conduct research on regenerative agriculture, sustainability, MMRV, and environmental markets.
β’ Convert research findings into actionable recommendations for programs.
β’ Manage specific Marketplace workstreams, including the searchable directory.
β’ Ensure project documentation and reporting templates are structured, current, and organized.
β’ Prepare, format, and summarize materials for pitch decks, proposals, and concept notes.
β’ Organize, document, and follow up on meetings with teams and partners.
β’ Monitor project timelines, action items, and dependencies.
β’ Assist in the planning, tracking, and execution of Marketplace and MMRV initiatives.
β’ Maintain communication with external system actors and provide operational support for meeting logistics, inquiries, and information sharing.
β’ Report directly to the Director of Data & Marketplace Strategy.
β’ Strong expertise in agrifood sustainability, agricultural production systems, and sustainability initiatives across supply chains.
β’ Ability to interpret and apply technical data related to agriculture, sustainability, and MMRV.
β’ Capability to independently research, analyze data, and synthesize findings into summaries, presentations, executive briefings, and recommendations.
β’ 1β3 years of experience in project coordination, implementation, or project management.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills with experience in tracking timelines, action items, and competing priorities.
β’ Keen attention to detail for testing user functionality and managing web-based platforms or directories.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Food Systems, Business, or a related field.
β’ Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments and a readiness to adapt.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and currently reside in Canada.
β’ Familiarity with MMRV concepts, carbon accounting, Scope 3 emissions, sustainability reporting, environmental data management, or related frameworks.
β’ Experience with agricultural sustainability programs, carbon markets, regenerative agriculture, or ecosystem service initiatives.
β’ Knowledge of environmental data standards, traceability systems, or digital agriculture platforms.
β’ Background working with producers, commodity organizations, or agricultural value chain partners.
β’ Remote work opportunity across Canada.
