This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create, implement, and assess direct marketing strategies aimed at attracting platelet and plasma donors.
• Generate campaign ideas and formulate channel marketing strategies, which encompass copywriting, design, and execution across various channels.
• Choose, source, budget, order, and distribute promotional items and merchandise.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for site changes at platelet donation centers and the launch of new donation locations.
• Create platelet-specific marketing materials for onsite use.
• Formulate marketing strategies and tactics for internal segments utilizing email, SMS/MMS, direct mail, phone, and app push channels.
• Design, develop, and execute marketing plans aimed directly at donors to support the growth of platelet and plasma donations.
• Oversee the selection of onsite incentive items, manage budgets, handle ordering, communications, and maintain incentive calendars.
• Evaluate and optimize audience segmentation, identify growth opportunities, and report on campaign outcomes.
• Analyze donor demographics at new or changing locations to inform and implement campaigns.
• Keep educational and point-of-sale materials up-to-date at Red Cross donation centers.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the marketing experience for platelet and plasma donors.
• Collaborate with designers, marketing operations, targeted marketing teams, production, and other departments from concept to execution.
• Employ creativity, best practices, and data analysis to address complex challenges.
• Serve as a resource and/or leadership support for other staff members.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of marketing experience is required.
• Previous experience in direct marketing is highly preferred, particularly in developing physical item/swag incentives, email marketing, direct mail strategy, healthcare marketing, and/or onsite marketing.
• Strong background in email metrics analysis, segment growth strategies, and data analysis is preferred.
• Experience in direct marketing through email and direct mail is advantageous.
• Development of trade show marketing materials is preferred.
• Experience in point-of-sale marketing is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as required by the role.
• Capability to stand, walk, and lift light to medium weights up to 20 pounds based on job requirements.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity in hands, arms, and fingers.
• Visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard.
• Overall mobility; must be able to sit for extended periods, drive a vehicle, and work under challenging conditions as necessary.
