This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Establish communication with current and potential new business partners.
• Promote ELD products and services through various channels, including correspondence, phone calls, in-person meetings, and digital interactions with agencies and brokers.
• Monitor prospect lists, success ratios, business retention, and statistics related to new business production.
• Create innovative strategies for business development.
• Develop, oversee, and adjust business and marketing plans as necessary.
• Assist underwriting by gathering facts, underwriting, and pricing renewals.
• Prepare analytical reports on the existing business profile/mix and new business.
• Encourage additional coverage and programs for current accounts.
• Meet premium development and retention/persistency objectives.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with agents, brokers, and producers.
• Oversee customer service delivery and resolve customer inquiries.
• Help coordinate and manage the transfer of books of business and contracts.
• Identify and direct issues to the appropriate team members.
• Provide ongoing education and support to agents regarding ELD products, programs, eligibility, risk, and pricing.
• Create and disseminate promotional communications and marketing materials.
• Organize and host internal and external marketing events.
• Keep an eye on competitors and market trends.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain competitive data.
• Utilize CRM databases to enhance services and target marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate on cross-marketing initiatives with other business units.
• Work together with regional underwriters and product managers.
• Participate in industry and association events.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically, 3 to 5 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within the insurance sector.
• Willingness to travel 35-50% of the time.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
