Marketing Data Science Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate the strategy and roadmap for Marketing Data Science, focusing on the most impactful opportunities in collaboration with key partners.

• Set objectives and measurement methodologies for attribution, ROI, and campaign performance evaluation.

• Provide insights that enhance marketing investments and outcomes.

• Lead and cultivate the team’s essential skills in performance marketing, brand marketing, user insights, reporting, and infrastructure.

• Optimize budgets, assess causal lift, and evaluate conversion signals through testing.

• Strategize and evaluate brand marketing measurement and its long-term and lower-funnel effects.

• Create retention/LTV models and perform audience segmentation.

• Develop self-service dashboards, generate ad hoc and executive reports, and create scalable data models and internal tools.

• Offer a forward-thinking perspective on advertising, media innovation, and marketing analytics methodologies.

• Collaborate with Data Science leaders to assess and responsibly integrate emerging AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in marketing data science, preferably within a media agency or an in-house marketing team.

• Expertise in marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics and various advertising platforms.

• Knowledge of modeling techniques such as MMM, causal lift/synthetic control, saturation modeling, optimization, and Bayesian methods.

• Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and nurturing talent.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.

• Excellent storytelling and communication abilities.

• Capacity to customize data-driven insights and recommendations for diverse audiences.
