Marketing Data Science Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define the strategy and roadmap for Marketing Data Science, focusing on the most impactful opportunities alongside key partners.

• Set objectives and measurement strategies for attribution, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.

• Provide insights that enhance marketing investments and results.

• Lead and cultivate skills in performance marketing, including budget optimization, causal lift measurement, and conversion-signal testing.

• Oversee brand marketing measurement planning and evaluate long-term and lower-funnel impacts.

• Generate user insights through retention/LTV modeling and audience segmentation.

• Create self-service dashboards, produce ad hoc and executive reporting, and design scalable data models and internal tools.

• Offer a forward-thinking perspective on advertising, media innovation, and marketing analytics methodologies.

• Collaborate with Data Science leaders to assess and thoughtfully integrate emerging AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing data science, preferably within a media agency or in-house marketing team.

• Expertise with marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and various advertising platforms.

• Knowledge of MMM, causal lift/synthetic control, saturation modeling, optimization, and Bayesian techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing talent.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.

• Excellent storytelling and communication abilities.

• Capability to customize data-driven insights and recommendations for diverse audiences.
