Marketing Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Set up and manage Google Analytics along with other web analytics platforms.

• Create and refine dashboards to assist stakeholders in tracking KPIs.

• Examine user behavior and evaluate marketing channel efficacy to produce actionable insights.

• Resolve issues related to tracking and data collection.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and in-depth reviews to aid product and marketing strategies.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests.

• Keep an eye on performance metrics and establish alerts for significant anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp objectives and translate them into measurement strategies.

• Guide junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical methods.

• Assist customers, marketing, web, and product teams with performance evaluations, tracking strategies, and trend analysis.

• Report to the Measurement & Reporting team manager and collaborate with fellow analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related discipline, required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics, required.

• Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI, Claude, required.

• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager or similar tag management systems, required.

• Proficient in SQL and possesses strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, required.

• Ability to troubleshoot tracking challenges, perform debugging, and conduct quality assurance.

• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Relevant knowledge of AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools like Optimizely is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Google App Script, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
