Marketing Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Configure and manage Google Analytics along with other web analytics platforms.

• Develop and refine dashboards for monitoring stakeholder KPIs.

• Evaluate user interactions and assess the effectiveness of marketing channels.

• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.

• Resolve issues related to tracking and data collection.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and in-depth investigations to inform product and marketing strategies.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and post-execution analysis of A/B tests.

• Track performance metrics and establish alerts for significant discrepancies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend objectives and convert them into measurement frameworks.

• Guide junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical methodologies.

• Directly report to the manager of the Measurement & Reporting team and work alongside fellow analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics is required.

• Proficient in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and Claude is required.

• Experience in an automotive agency and/or marketing agency is highly preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager or similar tag management systems is required.

• Familiarity with SQL is essential.

• Strong capabilities in Excel/Google Sheets are required.

• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools, such as Optimizely, is highly preferred.

• Comfortable diagnosing tracking issues, debugging, and performing quality assurance.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Google App Script, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
