Marketing Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Set up and manage Google Analytics along with other web analytics platforms.

• Develop and refine dashboards that enable stakeholders to track KPIs effectively.

• Evaluate user behavior and the performance of marketing channels to produce actionable insights.

• Resolve tracking and data collection issues as they arise.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and in-depth investigations to assist in product and marketing decisions.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests.

• Track performance metrics and establish alerts for significant anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend goals and convert them into measurement strategies.

• Guide junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical methodologies.

• Report directly to the Measurement & Reporting team manager and collaborate with fellow analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics is required.

• Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and Claude is required.

• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems is required.

• Solid understanding of SQL and strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required.

• Capable of troubleshooting tracking issues and performing debugging and quality assurance.

• Excellent communication abilities with the capability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools like Optimizely is highly preferred.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Google App Script, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
