Marketing Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Set up and manage Google Analytics along with additional web analytics tools.

• Develop and refine dashboards to assist stakeholders in tracking KPIs.

• Evaluate user behavior and the effectiveness of marketing channels to produce actionable insights.

• Diagnose issues related to tracking and data collection.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and in-depth studies to aid product and marketing strategies.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests.

• Track performance metrics and establish alerts for significant anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend objectives and convert them into measurement frameworks.

• Provide mentorship to junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical techniques.

• Assist customers, marketing, web, and product teams through performance analysis and tracking methodologies.

• Report directly to the Measurement & Reporting team manager and collaborate with fellow analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics is required.

• Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and Claude is required.

• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager or similar tag management systems is required.

• Proficient in SQL and possess strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets is required.

• Ability to troubleshoot tracking issues, conduct debugging, and perform quality assurance.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of automotive and/or marketing agency operations is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with A/B testing methods and tools like Optimizely is highly preferred.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Google App Script, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
