This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee the Marketing Communications (MarComm) department, establishing clear priorities, standards, and methodologies to support the overarching marketing strategies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications strategies that span digital, web, campaigns, sales enablement, nurturing, social media, and various other channels.
• Collaborate with functional, portfolio marketing, industry, and regional teams to convert strategy into effective messaging, content, and activation plans.
• Manage MarComm support for product launches and New Product Introductions (NPIs), creating launch strategies, unique messaging, content, and activation plans.
• Supervise messaging, storytelling, and content that convey Rockwell Automation's value propositions across diverse industries, solutions, hardware, software, and services.
• Maintain consistency in branding, uphold messaging standards, and ensure governance across all MarComm deliverables.
• Direct the intake, prioritization, resourcing, and execution of MarComm projects.
• Create workflows, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and best practices for efficient campaign, launch, and NPI execution.
• Leverage data, insights, and performance metrics to refine MarComm strategies.
• Act as an internal marketing advocate and advisor.
• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals.
• Build networks with internal and external customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; Rockwell Automation will not provide sponsorship for employment visas, either now or in the future, for this position.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Marketing Communications, content marketing, or integrated marketing roles, with proven leadership capabilities.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to transform marketing strategies into clear, actionable MarComm plans.
• Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and influencing outcomes without direct authority within a matrixed organization.
• An operational mindset with a background in developing or enhancing intake processes, workflows, governance, and content standards.
• Exceptional messaging and storytelling abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex topics.
• Proven success in a B2B environment; experience in industrial, automation, or technology sectors.
• A solid understanding of digital marketing, content activation, and performance evaluation (e.g., web, SEO, and campaigns).
• Experience in supporting and executing product launches and New Product Introductions (NPIs).
