Marketing Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily marketing operations and provide guidance to the other two roles.

• Develop and sustain the CRM framework, including pipelines, lifecycle stages, and contact hygiene.

• Create and implement email sequences for onboarding, renewals, abandoned signups, win-backs, and upsells.

• Design landing pages and signup funnels, linking them to forms, tags, and pipelines.

• Establish and manage integrations with WordPress, Stripe, Calendly, and Slack.

• Develop automations for client accounts under the agency account based on written briefs.

• Provide monthly reports on list health, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, and pipeline movement.

• Draft and keep updated concise SOPs for each automation to facilitate handover.

• Redesign the internal CRM to ensure clean pipelines without duplicate or orphaned contacts.

• Initiate and assess a customer onboarding sequence.

• Construct and transfer at least two client accounts along with SOPs.

• Articulate an end-to-end automation either in writing or via an unedited video recording during the screening process.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing automation; experience in an agency or multi-client setting is preferred.

• Extensive hands-on building experience in at least one of the following: ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Klaviyo, Ontraport, or Keap.

• Knowledge of email deliverability essentials: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain warming, list hygiene, and handling bounces and complaints.

• Capability to construct multi-step scenarios using Zapier or Make.com with conditional logic.

• Familiarity with WordPress, including form plugins, tracking scripts, and publishing pages.

• Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, specifically for event and conversion tracking setup.

• Understanding of GDPR/PECR compliance as it pertains to email marketing consent.

• Availability to work during UK business hours.

• Commitment to attending mandatory daily stand-up meetings lasting approximately 20–30 minutes via Slack.

• Requirement to keep the camera ON during meetings with colleagues, clients, and management.

• Reliable, high-speed internet connection.

• Professional demeanor during video meetings.

• Preference for original, human-generated content and communication over AI-generated work.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with virtual assistants and team members.
