Market Risk Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial risk reports and analyses.

• Oversee and manage market and financial risk data.

• Engage in projects related to Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Interest Rate Risk.

• Conduct reconciliations and validations of financial data.

• Evaluate financial instruments and their valuation models.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Provide assistance for initiatives related to capital and financial management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Over four (4) years of experience in banking, financial risk, or consulting.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.

• Understanding of financial valuation for bonds, fixed-income instruments, financial derivatives, and options.

• Experience in analyzing and managing financial risk.

• Proficient in advanced Excel, SQL, and Python.

• Preferably experienced in Market Risk, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity Risk, and capital-related initiatives.

• Familiarity with Basel, IRRBB, IFRS 9, or similar regulatory frameworks.

• Experience with specialized tools such as Murex, Calypso, or Kondor.
