This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Implement the company’s strategic initiatives both on- and off-premise across the Colorado market.
• Execute programs at the field level within on- and off-premise accounts in line with brand strategies.
• Drive distributor performance and cultivate relationships with key customers.
• Assess market opportunities and guarantee the consistent execution of both national and local initiatives.
• Collaborate with Colorado On-Premise Channel Managers to synchronize efforts with the broader Colorado market plan.
• Oversee daily operations with distributors, ensuring compliance with brand policies, distribution goals, and promotional activities.
• Train distributor sales personnel and assess their execution against initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships with distributor sales representatives, managers, and senior leadership.
• Advocate for brands to boost volume and aid distributors in meeting their objectives.
• Conduct meetings with distributor sales representatives and management at distributor offices.
• Engage with and participate in relevant local events while executing national initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for distributor sales teams and assist with sales-related tasks.
• Communicate, implement, and report on product seminars.
• Track customer and consumer trends.
• Maintain schedules of activities and promotions and oversee third-party promotional company activities.
• Conduct brand trainings for staff.
• Deliver monthly market activity reports to the District Manager.
• Provide updates on market and competitive brands to the supervisor.
• Review program and execution updates with distributor management.
• Offer feedback on marketing and sales initiatives, programs, point-of-sale materials, and advertising.
• Complete special projects such as verifying pricing and distribution at both on- and off-premise accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Over five (5) years of relevant work experience in the distilled spirits or wine supplier industry.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather data from various sources and present it effectively.
• Understanding of sales and marketing principles and methods, including marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Effective managerial skills and proficiency in delivering presentations.
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Willingness to travel throughout Colorado.
• Capacity to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, utilize a computer, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
