This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop and execute strategies for loss prevention to reduce shrinkage, theft, and fraud within the designated market.
• Analyze shrinkage data and emerging trends to pinpoint risks and formulate action plans for enhancement.
• Conduct periodic audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of safety by implementing and maintaining programs that comply with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and safety inspections across all locations within the market.
• Lead investigations into incidents and conduct root cause analyses for accidents, thefts, and policy breaches, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Provide safety training and educational programs for employees, focusing on hazard awareness and injury prevention.
• Offer guidance and support to store managers regarding loss prevention and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and operations teams to manage internal investigations and ensure equitable resolutions.
• Maintain strong partnerships with local law enforcement and community organizations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all loss prevention and safety-related issues within the market.
• Promote a safety culture and reduce injuries across center store, services, and veterinary services partners.
• Ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and minimize general liability claims.
• Enhance Workplace Violence awareness and respond swiftly to threats or emerging trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or safety management within a retail setting, including multi-unit or regional oversight.
• Preferred certifications include Loss Prevention Certification (LPC), W/Z certification, and experience in interviewing/interrogation.
• In-depth knowledge of retail operations, safety regulations, and investigative techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in loss prevention technologies, reporting tools, and safety management systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
