Market Intelligence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create a market intelligence framework to monitor competitors, pricing, regulations, OEM activities, charging infrastructure, and energy trends.

• Design and sustain forecasting models to assess demand, utilization, coverage requirements, and scenarios for competitor expansion.

• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses.

• Evaluate new markets, segments, and partnership prospects, quantifying their impacts and associated risks.

• Observe and interpret signals related to policies, grid developments, vehicle demographics, technology, and customer behavior.

• Generate regular reporting packages and perform ad-hoc in-depth analyses.

• Transform intricate analyses into narratives, visual representations, and recommendations tailored for senior stakeholders.

• Facilitate insight-gathering sessions with internal teams and clarify decision-making questions.

• Establish consistent assumptions and a single source of truth for ongoing analyses.

• Document methodologies and manage version control.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in market intelligence, strategy/consulting, analytics, competitive intelligence, or a related field.

• Background in EV charging, energy, mobility, infrastructure, telecommunications, or other network-oriented industries.

• Proven experience in tracking regulatory and policy changes across European markets.

• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

• Experience collaborating with data teams and managing BI pipelines.

• Strong quantitative abilities in forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis.

• Exceptional communication skills to convey insights effectively through written and visual storytelling for executive audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

• High levels of curiosity and structured thinking; capability to identify patterns, challenge assumptions, and articulate implications.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience applying machine learning or artificial intelligence to market or competitive intelligence is an advantage.
