Market Fleet Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee all Regional Fleet Managers across the five DACH regions.

• Provide indirect supervision to Fleet Managers, Technicians, Damage Detection Experts, and Spare Parts Experts for a fleet of over 4,000 vehicles across more than 40 locations.

• Report directly to the Business Director - DACH.

• Collaborate closely with the Regional Operations Managers.

• Manage the Maintenance, Repair, and Fleet Transfer budget.

• Ensure repairs are cost-effective and of high quality throughout the market.

• Establish repair strategies for each vehicle based on damage assessments and operational needs.

• Coordinate workshop capacity, scheduling, and parts flow to ensure vehicle availability.

• Develop and enhance the internal and external workshop network.

• Lead and nurture fleet teams at various stations.

• Monitor KPIs related to repair costs, repair times, and damage detection accuracy.

• Drive strategic initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a comparable technical discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in fleet management, maintenance/repair, or workshop oversight.

• At least 5 years of direct people management experience, ideally within a technical and operational context.

• Strong analytical and budgeting abilities with an emphasis on efficiency and quality.

• Confident leadership skills with exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

• Willingness to travel to internal stations and external vendors within the market.

• Proficient in maintenance or fleet management systems such as SAP or Oracle.

• Working proficiency in both German and English.

• Must be eligible to work in the country of application.

• At least 18 years of age.
