Market Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement strategies for regional growth across European markets.

• Establish and nurture relationships with Certification Bodies, retailers, manufacturers, and strategic partners to enhance the adoption of BRCGS programmes.

• Discover new commercial opportunities and safeguard existing market share through proactive engagement with customers.

• Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and customer insights to inform regional priorities.

• Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast opportunities, and meet growth objectives.

• Assist in recovery plans for underperforming markets and convert commercial insights into quantifiable outcomes.

• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure customer feedback shapes products and marketing strategies.

• Represent BRCGS at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences throughout Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, market development, or commercial growth across various European markets.

• A solid track record of achieving revenue growth in a B2B services context.

• Background in certification, assurance, compliance, food safety, testing, inspection, or a related field.

• Confidence in building relationships with senior executives, strategic partners, and large customer organizations.

• Strong commercial acumen, encompassing pipeline management, forecasting, and meeting revenue targets.

• Capability to analyze market trends and convert insights into actionable commercial strategies.

• Experience working across different cultures and markets while upholding a consistent strategy.

• Proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

• Flexibility to support global business operations.

• Proficiency in additional European languages is a considerable advantage.
