This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Market General Manager to oversee all medical operations within the designated market.

• Provide medical leadership focused on diagnosis and documentation, Quality/Stars, and cost-of-care initiatives, including care management.

• Engage with leaders from medical groups and health systems to facilitate the implementation of value-based care.

• Lead and guide the assigned Director of Nursing & Clinical Operations and/or Market Clinical Director.

• Act as a liaison between Honest, external partners, patients, and other stakeholders.

• Offer consultative oversight concerning chronic disease management, advanced care planning, quality measures, and evidence-based practices.

• Represent Honest in meetings with stakeholders, partners, operating committees, boards, and during coding/documentation discussions.

• Address escalated clinical issues, including partner and patient complaints.

• Build relationships with partner practices and primary care providers, reviewing KPIs and engagement opportunities.

• Collaborate with the Market General Manager, Market Operations Directors, other markets, and corporate teams.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and leverage data to pinpoint market-level KPI opportunities.

• Cultivate local market relationships that highlight Honest’s value to provider practices.

• Travel to market-based physician offices and healthcare facilities as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Unrestricted MD or DO state license, including board certification valid in the state of residence and/or states where partner offices or healthcare facilities are located.

• At least 4 years of experience in a medical leadership position.

• Ideally, prior experience in value-based care in a rapidly growing environment.

• Strong understanding of clinical standards of care with a focus on enhancing patient quality of life.

• Extensive medical knowledge and experience, especially in geriatrics, chronic disease management, and palliative care.

• Proficient in coordinating and collaborating with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams, build relationships, and promote a positive work atmosphere.

• Reliable access to high-speed internet for remote work.

• Willingness to arrange and consistently travel to various work sites.

• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and motor vehicle insurance.
