This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Act as the primary marketing authority for E. & J. Gallo’s Malt Division and the Montucky Cold Snacks brand.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise accounts within the market.
• Ensure the Montucky Cold Snacks brand enjoys high visibility and builds loyalty among target consumers.
• Create and cultivate a key account roster across a designated territory of essential accounts, driving on-premise growth and quality distribution.
• Implement brand strategies to secure menu placements, provide staff education, enhance POS visibility, generate trade enthusiasm, and ensure brand features and account visibility.
• Regularly communicate market conditions to the client.
• Stay informed on best practices, industry trends, and competing brands.
• Track, measure, document, and offer insights on sales support initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory statutes.
• Collaborate with local distributor partners and support Gallo Malt Division brand teams during select market events.
• Identify brand opportunities through innovative marketing initiatives.
• Design and implement engaging sampling initiatives within target accounts.
• Schedule programming at optimal times to maximize consumer engagement.
• Manage activation budgets and related costs.
• Utilize programming and consumer demand to motivate trade.
• Record sales, monitor conversions, and prepare activation summaries.
• Report to the Director of New Business Development; work under the guidance of the Vice President and coordinate with the E&J Gallo Business Development Manager in the market.
• Experience in the beverage industry, preferably in beer or as a bartender.
• A.B.A. or B.S. degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license and possess a reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Basic understanding of the brewing process, production, product/food pairing techniques, and service.
• Strong time management skills with the capability to manage a budget effectively.
• Self-motivated individual who can work efficiently in a remote setting.
• Creative skills to develop programming opportunities.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and dynamic environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of adult beverage practices and regulatory compliance.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends as necessary.
• Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Strong leadership capabilities, excellent motivation skills, and persuasive communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Existing relationships with distributors, on-premise, or retail accounts are advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge of the alcohol beverage industry, particularly expertise in the beer category is preferred.
• Experience in taking prompt action to meet objectives and exceed goals; proactive approach is essential.
• Skilled in presenting ideas effectively to individuals and groups at all levels.
• Experience in setting high performance standards for oneself and others; experience in implementing standards of excellence with measurable goals.
• Knowledge and ability to utilize industry-related software such as Canva, Karma/VIP, etc., is a significant plus.
