This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical expertise to enhance the growth of GE Vernova Power Conversion and Storage Marine Services.
• Utilize customer relationships to foster business expansion.
• Gain familiarity with the delivered Power Conversion and Storage scope of supply.
• Execute marketing strategies for services within the marine sector.
• Contribute to the strategic planning for the segment and region.
• Propel growth-focused initiatives and investigate new market applications.
• Develop existing customer relationships.
• Manage a Marine Services orders forecast and achieve volume and margin targets for each quarter.
• Assist in the bidding processes for service opportunities by leveraging expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Recognize relevant offerings to seize new service opportunities.
• Direct commercial and technical proposal efforts while coordinating risk assessments with relevant Power Conversion functions.
• Establish partnerships with key external entities and collaborate within the GE Vernova business ecosystem.
• Create opportunities and solutions utilizing Power Conversion expertise in Marine Electric Propulsion, Controls, and Automation.
• Expand opportunities to include the broader GE Vernova portfolio.
• Contribute to the Strategic Marketing and Marine Segment Engagement Plans for GE Vernova Power Conversion.
• Track marine segment market intelligence in North America.
• Achieve orders and maintain margins to fulfill defined individual and team goals.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in maritime electric propulsion or controls and automation, including Dynamic Positioning systems.
• Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development with a proven track record of achieving growth-oriented success.
• Familiarity with the Offshore Oil & Gas ecosystem, including Shipyards and Naval Architecture firms.
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Capability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Strong expertise in shipboard and land-based medium and high voltage systems, including variable frequency drives, rotating machines, and auxiliary systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GE Vernova products, solutions, and limitations to create offerings that satisfy customer requirements.
• Experience with Government contracting standards and acquisition programs.
• A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred.
• An active SECRET security clearance or higher is preferred.
• Leadership experience with a high degree of technical knowledge is essential.
• Self-motivated and directed individual.
• Proficient in team building and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of business objectives with the capacity to drive specific tasks to meet those objectives.
