This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide expert technical knowledge to aid the growth of GE Vernova's Power Conversion and Storage Marine Services sector.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the delivered Power Conversion and Storage scope of supply.
• Execute marketing strategies for services within the marine segment.
• Participate in segment and regional strategies, driving initiatives for growth, investigating new market opportunities, and enhancing customer relationships.
• Manage a forecast for Marine Services orders and achieve volume and margin goals to meet quarterly objectives.
• Assist in the bidding process for service opportunities utilizing expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Identify pertinent offerings to seize new service opportunities.
• Lead the development of commercial and technical proposals and coordinate risk assessments with supporting Power Conversion teams.
• Establish partnerships with key external entities and within the GE Vernova business network.
• Create opportunities and solutions leveraging Power Conversion expertise in Marine Electric Propulsion, Controls, and Automation.
• Expand opportunities to integrate the GE Vernova portfolio.
• Contribute to GE Vernova Power Conversion's Strategic Marketing and Marine Segment Engagement Plans.
• Keep track of market intelligence within the Marine segment in North America to gain a competitive edge.
• Achieve orders and maintain margins in alignment with specified individual and team objectives.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
• At least 10 years of experience in maritime electric propulsion or controls and automation, including Dynamic Positioning systems; experience may involve requirements generation, design, testing, commissioning, delivery, fleet service, sales, or business development.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales/business development experience with a proven track record of achieving growth-oriented success.
• Familiarity with the Offshore Oil & Gas ecosystem, including shipyards and naval architecture firms.
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Capability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Strong background in medium- and high-voltage systems on ships and land, including variable frequency drives, rotating machines, and auxiliary systems.
• A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited institution or a master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• At least 10 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of GE Vernova products, solutions, and limitations adequate to create offerings that fulfill customer requirements is preferred.
• Experience with government contracting standards and acquisition programs is preferred.
• Active SECRET security clearance or higher is preferred.
