This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
β’ Establish and uphold governance frameworks for manufacturing programs, including performance metrics and reporting standards.
β’ Oversee strategic manufacturing initiatives across various plants, product lines, and operational areas.
β’ Identify and alleviate program risks, maintain RAID logs, drive corrective actions, and escalate issues as necessary.
β’ Provide executive-level updates on program status, risks, financial aspects, benefits, and critical decisions.
β’ Lead and mentor Managers and Associate Managers in Manufacturing Projects.
β’ Guide cross-functional manufacturing support teams to fulfill initiative and launch-plan objectives.
β’ Develop and sustain plans for manufacturing infrastructure and capacity.
β’ Supervise the integration of capital equipment, systems, and technologies within manufacturing operations.
β’ Research and suggest technologies and process enhancements to improve productivity, quality, safety, visibility, and ergonomics.
β’ Offer engineering insights regarding Design for Manufacturability and process readiness.
β’ Drive manufacturing financial goals, encompassing CapEx, COGS drivers, ROI strategies, and value delivery.
β’ Ensure operational readiness and compliance with local regulations and standards.
β’ Assist in methodologies for monitoring manufacturing quality issues and incorporating improvements into products and processes.
β’ Enhance visibility of manufacturing process flow and operational KPIs through dashboards and standardized reporting.
β’ Facilitate structured decision-making for layouts, equipment, processes, and technology selections.
β’ Implement Lean principles into daily management, deliverables, systems, and processes.
β’ Promote the adoption of new systems, processes, and projects using change management techniques such as ADKAR.
β’ Support bid and proposal efforts with manufacturing input regarding capacity, timelines, risks, costs, and technology recommendations.
β’ Perform other related duties as assigned and required.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required in a relevant field of study.
β’ A Master's degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, industrialized construction, or a related field.
β’ Travel requirement: 0-25%.
β’ Availability to work between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
β’ Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
β’ Proven ability to establish and maintain governance frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting standards in manufacturing programs.
β’ Experience in managing strategic manufacturing initiatives across multiple plants, product lines, and operations.
β’ Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams in manufacturing project management.
β’ Familiarity with new product introductions, capacity expansions, line launches, facility readiness, process changes, and strategic manufacturing initiatives.
β’ Experience in integrating capital equipment, systems, and technologies into manufacturing operations.
β’ Understanding of Lean principles and change management methodologies such as ADKAR.
β’ Proficiency in managing CapEx, COGS drivers, ROI strategies, and delivering value.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in Safety, Quality, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Planning & Scheduling, Continuous Improvement, and Business Technology.
