This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
β’ Establish and uphold governance frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting standards for manufacturing programs.
β’ Oversee strategic manufacturing projects across various plants, product lines, and operational sectors.
β’ Identify and address program risks, maintain RAID logs, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
β’ Deliver executive-level updates on program status, risks, financials, benefits, and key decisions.
β’ Mentor and develop Managers and Associate Managers of Manufacturing Projects.
β’ Lead cross-functional teams encompassing Safety, Quality, Operations Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Planning & Scheduling, Continuous Improvement, and Business Technology.
β’ Create and manage plans for manufacturing infrastructure and capacity.
β’ Supervise the integration of capital equipment, systems, and technologies within manufacturing operations.
β’ Research and propose technologies and process enhancements.
β’ Offer Design for Manufacturability and process-readiness feedback to the engineering team.
β’ Direct manufacturing financial goals, including CapEx, COGS drivers, ROI strategies, and value delivery.
β’ Ensure operational readiness and adherence to local regulations and standards.
β’ Monitor manufacturing quality concerns and provide insights for product and process enhancements.
β’ Enhance visibility into manufacturing process flow and operational KPIs through dashboards and standardized reporting.
β’ Facilitate structured decision-making regarding layouts, equipment, processes, and technology choices.
β’ Apply Lean principles to daily management activities, deliverables, systems, and processes.
β’ Promote the adoption of new systems, processes, and projects utilizing change management techniques such as ADKAR.
β’ Assist in bids and proposals by providing manufacturing insights on capacity, timelines, risks, costs, and technology recommendations.
β’ Perform additional related duties as assigned.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required in a relevant field of study.
β’ A Master's degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, industrialized construction, or a related area.
β’ Travel requirement: 0-25%.
β’ Work hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
β’ Successful completion of a background check and drug test is required for employment.
